TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The first step to making Pima Community College's Downtown Campus a bit bigger is happening on Thursday, Aug. 16.

The former "Fortuna Inn and Suites," which was bought by PCC, will be demolished.

This is on the campus' west side.

As that goes down, a planned center of excellence in Applied Technology will go up.

The demolition will take a few weeks.
