TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Tucson International Airport made another big announcement at a press conference Tuesday morning, expanding their airline network even more.
The airport will now be home to Allegient Airlines, who will be offering nonstop flights to Bellingham, Washington and Provo, Utah.
According to the airline, the service will begin in mid-November with rates to Bellingham starting at $69 and to Utah for $49.
The new flights will leave twice a week from Tucson.
Allegient Air is the ninth largest commercial airline in the United States and claims to offer "cheap flights."
TUS announced earlier this month that another low-cost provider, Frontier Airlines, would be offering several nonstop flights from Tucson to Denver starting in November.
