Tucson police investigating two overnight homicides; Prince Road closed near Flowing Wells

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Police are at the scene of a homicide that happened early on Wednesday, Sept. 5, which has resulted in the closure of Prince Road between Flowing Wells and Romero.

According to Sgt. Pete Dugan of the Tucson Police Department, Wednesday morning's homicide is unrelated to one that happened late on Tuesday night on the east side. In the earlier incident, a man was found shot to death in a parking lot of an apartment complex.

Police at the west-side location say the scene is on both sides of Prince Road.

No further information about Wednesday's incident was immediately available.

Drivers should avoid the area.
