Police started searching the Southeast Side landfill early Friday morning.
This is the second time police are searching the area this year. Authorities are hoping to find more information on the whereabouts of 5-year-old Tyler Payne.
Tips to the 88-CRIME line are anonymous and not recorded; detectives are "pleading" for the tipster to call them again at: 791-4499 Ext. 1238 with more information to help their search at the landfill.
Four-year-old Ariana Payne's decomposing body was found in a rented storage locker on Feb. 18, in midtown Tucson. Her brother, Tyler, is also missing.
Their father, Christopher M. Payne, has been indicted on two counts of first-degree murder. In the indictment it states that the children may have starved to death.
The head of the department's violence crime division is expected to provide more information on the case later Friday morning.
