Pima County prosecutors have filed notice that they intend to seek the death penalty if a Tucson woman is convicted of killing her boyfriend's two children.
Reina Gonzales is scheduled for trial next May for the murders of Ariana and Tyler Payne.
Police found Ariana's body last February at a midtown self-storage center. Investigators believe Tyler's body is in the Los Reales landfill, although at least two searches have come up empty.
The children's father, Christopher Payne, is also charged with the children's murders.
Prosecutors have already said they'll seek the death penalty if Payne is convicted.
