The murder trial of Christopher Payne continued today.
Payne is accused of killing his children Ariana and Tyler Payne two years ago.
Linda Cosentino, the children's grandmother and former mother-in-law of Christopher Payne, took the stand on Tuesday. She recalled the last time she spoke to her grandchildren back in May of 2006. She said her granddaughter Ariana was complaining that her head hurt.
"She just kept telling me my head hurts and then Chris got on the phone. He just said she keeps complaining about her head hurting and I don't know why. I said maybe you should take her to the doctors," Cosentino said.
After that conversation, she never talked to her grandchildren again.
there is a chance the prosecution will rest their case tomorrow and the defense could start calling witnesses tomorrow afternoon or by thursday.
