Man injured, suspect detained following stabbing at Tucson apartment complex

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - One man was injured and another man was arrested following a stabbing at a Tucson apartment complex on Tuesday, Aug. 26.

The Tucson Police Department confirmed it happened around 7:45 p.m. at the Mission Antigua Apartments, which is located near Mission and Drexel.

The TPD said 27-year-old Francisco Javier Perez was arrested on a charge of domestic violence aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is being held on a $7,500 bond.

The TPD said Perez and the victim, who were roommates, got into an altercation in a vehicle. The fight became physical, and the victim was stabbed.

The TPD said the victim was taken to the hospital, and the extent of his injuries was not known.
