Every holiday season, hundreds of people die in drunk driving crashes. For over two decades, Project Roadblock has been spreading life-saving messages preventing drunk driving. This year, for the 21st year running, KOLD-13 is proud to support Project Roadblock, a special initiative from the Television Bureau of Advertising that promotes the “Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving” public service advertising campaign from the Ad Council and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Stay safe out there. Plan for a safe and sober ride home whenever you’re drinking. Make sure you have a ride-sharing app or cab company saved in your phone, check holiday public transit schedules, or plan for someone in your group to be the designated sober driver. Remember, buzzed driving is drunk driving.
