Arizona Rattlers fan never misses a game

GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Crazy fans are what make sports so special, and in Glendale, there is one superfan who is more recognizable than anyone else.

He walks into every Arizona Rattlers game with his lucky shirt, his cape, and his custom big hat.

“The action, the intimacy of the game you can’t get this in the NFL, and I love the NFL, but you are right here,” Big Head Fred said.

He has been coming to Arena League Football games for over 30 years and said that since the team came to the West Valley, he hasn’t missed a single one.

“I have been coming all the way back since the early 90’s, and I really will not miss a game at all,” Big Head Fred said.

No matter who they are playing, he is sitting in the front row making sure the opposing team hears all of his trash talk.

“Oh, I am letting them hear it, they usually call me short and I am like I have heard that my whole life,” Big Head Fred said.

The Rattlers went home with the win, which means Big Head Fred and the others went home happy.
