Single AZ store sells six Powerball tickets worth $1 million

PHOENIX (Tucson News Now) — Nobody in Arizona hit the grand prize in last Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, but at least one Arizonan is $1 million richer.
Six tickets sold in the state hit five out of six numbers for the second-place price. Furthermore, all of those tickets were purchased at a QuikTrip located at 6702 W. Glendale Ave. in Glendale.
The winning numbers were 4-25-29-34-43, with a Powerball of 29.
One of the six winning tickets was claimed yesterday by a Glendale resident who wished to remain anonymous. Arizona Lottery executives are still waiting for the other tickets to be claimed.
Since the new $2 Powerball game launched in January, 10 Arizonans have claimed the $1 million second-place prize. The winners have included two Tucson residents, a Phoenix resident and a couple from Fort Mohave. Arizona is tied with New York for having the most $2 Powerball second prize winners since the game launched.
